Selected List for Assistant Teachers on contractual basis under the scheme of’Strengthening Elementary Education of Assam

This is for general information that 11,319 numbers TET qualified candidates (Lower Primary, Upper Primary-Social Science, Upper Primary-Maths & Science) have been notified to be engaged as Asstt Teachers on contractual basis under the scheme of ‘Strengthening Elementary Education of Assam’ vide communique of Govt of Assam No. PMA 648/2017/36, dtd 06-09-2017 and in respect of this Office Advertisement No. SSA/TT/Engagement of Asst. Teacher/1095/2017/1218, dated 30.06.2017.
The posting will be done considering requirement of teachers in the schools of respective districts. The authority reserves the right to transfer/rationalize the posts/teachers to any elementary school of the state as per requirement at any point of time. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on 7th September, 2017 in the website of SSA, Assam (www.ssaassam.gov.in). The engagement orders will be distributed on 8th September, 2017 at Veterinary Playground, Khanapara, Guwahati-22.
Further, they are requested to register in the NIOS portal for D.EI.Edcourse in ODL mode on or before 11th September, 2017 to acquire professional qualification, if not yet acquired as per NCTE norms. It is to be informed that non enrolling in NIOS portal within stipulated time or non completion of the course within March, 2019 will invite dismissal of their service as notified in the State Government Notification No. AEE. 296/2017/6 dated 1st September, 2017.
The selected candidates will attend 1-day induction level orientation programme on 8th September,2017 at Veterinary Playground, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 in collaboration with Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University.
