Good news for young girls from Assam. First you should stand in the Employment exchange centre (Employment Exchange Office) and line up and go to the office again and again and register your name. Which was a problem for many. In such a situation there is a good news to young young people.

From now on young people from home can register their names online without going to the Employment Exchange centre. The assam government took this important decision at a cabinet meeting held on Wednesday. This was revealed by minister Pijush Hazarika at a press conference.

We have not yet come up with the online registration website. The website will be launched soon to Employment Exchange Online Registration. We will know you as soon as new updates are in the offing.

Earlier, the application process of Employment Exchange Registration was offline only. But starting from 27th September 2021, the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of Assam has digitized the entire process of Employment Exchange Registration. Hence now onwards, you can apply online for Employment Exchange Registration Certificate in Assam and Manual Registration process has been discontinued .

Assam Government Facilitates Online Registration At Employment Exchange

The Assam Government has facilitated online registration of candidates with the Employment Exchange. So far, the registration process was tedious as it had to be done physically. The move comes with the Assam Cabinet taking up matters of administrative reforms in weekly meetings, and the matter of reforming policies centred on employment of youths has been in focus.

In another move, the Government has announced the statutes for the first sports university of Assam – the proposed Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University. The university is being set up in Chabua, Dibrugarh, statutes for which will be tabled in the upcoming Budget Session of the State Assembly beginning July 12. Further, the State Government has decided to merge the Department of Pensions and Public Grievances with the Department of Administration Reforms and Training for effective functioning.

To get Registration in any Employment Exchanges of Assam, the candidates or their parent’s residence/ place of residence should be for about 20/25 years within the State of Assam.   1. All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their names in the Employment Exchange of the State of Assam.
  2. The candidates are eligible for Registration in one Employment Exchange only in the state, where they are permanent residents within the jurisdiction of the District.
  3. Applicants who are already employed and seeking better employment have to be registered only after production of a “No Objection Certificate” issued by the employer.
  4. The following documents are to be submitted:-
    1. Age Proof:- Birth Certificate/ HSLC Admit card/ School Certificate ( Any one of these three documents)
    2. Proof of Residency:-
      1. Applicants having AADHAAR Card with permanent address within the state of Assam will be allowed to Register Online without visiting the Employment Exchange as per Office Memorandum issued vide no. SKE. 42/2021/32 Dated Dispur the 19th July 2021. (Only for verification of the state of ASSAM)
      2. Passport/EPIC/Certified copy of Electoral Rolls/Land documents/Marriage Certificate/Electricity Bill/Driving License ( to be uploaded any one of these documents for permanent address of applicant )
    3. Educational Qualification Certificate:- Pass Certificate (S) and Mark Sheet(S)
    4. Caste Certificate in cases of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC applicants
    5. In case of P.W.D ( Persons With Disability) candidate –Disability certificate issued by competent authority.
    6. Additional Qualification Certificate ( if any)
    7. Experience Certificate ( If any)
    8. Non- Creamy Layer Certificate.
  5. All text box with asterisk (*) symbol is mandatory to filled up.
  6. Please scan all Educational Qualification (Pass Certificate & Mark sheets in chronological order from lowest level to highest level) into a single PDF and upload as one single PDF.
  7. After successfully submission of application Employment Exchange Card (X 10) will be issued to his/her registered Email.
  8. Every registrant shall renew his /her registration once in three (3) years in the due month as indicated on his/her Registration card.
  9. Failure to renew the registration even after lapse of grace period (3 months), will lead to cancellation of registration and subsequent removal from Live Register maintained in the Employment Exchange.
  10. No request for renewal of registration after the expiry of the due month and grace period shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Guidelines for Registration in Employment Exchanges of Assam (NON-AADHAAR BASED)

  1. All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam ,(as per Office memorandum no .E/P-344/41472 Dtd 05-07-1971) are eligible to Register their names in the Employment Exchanges of the State of Assam.
  2. The candidates are eligible for Registration in one Employment Exchange only in the state, where they are permanent residents within the jurisdiction of the District
  3. Applicants who are already employed and seeking better employment have to be registered only after production of a “No Objection Certificate” issued by the employer.
  4. Once a candidate has registered online and completes the requisite information in the form, he/she will be issued an acknowledgement receipt informing about the stipulated date and time for physical verification of all original documents.
  5. The candidate is required to visit concerned Employment Exchange in person for verification of all original documents on stipulated date and time.
  6. The following documents are to be produced in original at the Local Employment Exchange on the date of Physical verification:-
    • Age Proof :- Birth Certificate/ HSLC Admit card/ School Certificate ( Any one of these three documents)
    • Proof of Residency:- Passport/EPIC/Certified copy of Electoral Rolls/Land documents/Marriage Certificate/Electricity Bill/Driving License ( Any one of these documents)
    • Educational Qualification Certificate :- Pass Certificate (S) and Mark Sheet(S)
    • Caste Certificate in cases of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC applicants
    • In case of P.W.D ( Persons With Disability) candidate –Disability certificate issued by competent authority.

  12. No request for renewal of registration after the expiry of the due month and grace period shall be entertained under any circumstances.
