Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing financial statements, monthly reports, and cash flow statements.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, tax filings).
- Assisting in budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Managing inventory, payroll, and expense accounts.
- Liaising with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Key Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. CA/ICWA (Inter) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in accounting, preferably in the hospitality or plantation industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax rules.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication in English, Hindi, and Assamese.
