The Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) 2.0 has reached a crucial stage, with final results for Class III and Class IV posts declared in October 2025, and department allotments announced in early November 2025. Following these significant milestones, various departments under the Government of Assam have commenced the document verification (DV) process for provisionally selected candidates. It is imperative for all shortlisted candidates to attend their respective departmental document verification sessions with all original documents and self-attested photocopies.

General ADRE (SLRC) Document Verification Guidelines

While specific requirements may vary slightly by department, several common guidelines and essential documents apply to all ADRE document verification processes for Grade III and Grade IV posts. Candidates are generally advised to bring one set of self-attested photocopies along with their original documents.

Commonly Required Documents:

  • Copy of the Online Application.
  • Admit Cards of the Written Examination and Skill Test (if applicable).
  • Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates of HSLC (Class 10), HS (Class 12), and Degree (for relevant posts).
  • HSLC Admit Card (for date of birth proof).
  • Birth Certificate (if applicable, as proof of date of birth).
  • Academic Qualification Certificates as per the requirement of the post.
  • Certificate in Diploma in Computer Application (if applicable).
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC), if applicable.
  • EWS Certificate, if applicable.
  • Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, or Passport for photo identification.
  • Two recent Passport Size photographs.
  • Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
  • Declaration in Form-A under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019.
  • NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Head of Department, if applicable (for candidates already employed).
  • Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable).
  • PwBD Status/Certificate or Disability-certificate /UDID card (if applicable).

Important General Instructions:

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the document verification process.
  • Only the candidate will be allowed inside the venue.

Document Verification for Assam Police Departments (Junior Assistant & MTS)

As per government communications, the Assam Police Headquarters has mandated document verification for candidates selected for Junior Assistant and MTS posts under the Home & Political Department. The verification will be held on a single day for multiple candidates.

  • Verification Date: 28th November 2025
  • Reporting Time: 10:00 AM
  • Venue: DRILL SHED, Office of The Commandant, 4th A.P. BN Kahilipara, Guwahati.

Roll Number-Wise Schedule

For Junior Assistant Post

For MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) Post

General Instructions for All Candidates

All candidates must attend the verification physically and bring the following documents:

  • All original testimonials of educational/skill qualifications (certificates and mark sheets etc.).
  • Copy of online application and admit card for the written examination held by SLRC.
  • Age proof (HSLC certificate/admit card/Birth Certificate issued by competent authority).
  • Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / EPIC / Passport as photo identity proof.
  • Valid caste certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable).
  • Disability Certificate / UDID Card (for PwD candidates) / EWS Certificate (if applicable).
  • Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
  • Proof of present address.
  • All Academic Qualification Certificates submitted during the application process.
  • Any other relevant documents (e.g., Ex-serviceman Certificate, Experience Certificate, Computer Proficiency Certificate, if applicable, etc.).
  • Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs.
  • One complete set of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents, as applicable, must be submitted at the time of verification.

Important Notes:

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the document verification.
  • Candidates failing to attend the scheduled document verification shall not be considered for appointment.
  • Candidates are requested to carefully verify the spelling of their name, parent’s name, address and other particulars before signing the verification register.
  • Only the candidate will be allowed to enter the venue.
