Assam Industrial Development Corporation Limited (AIDCL), located in Guwahati, Assam, is currently seeking applications for various managerial positions, particularly for the role of General Manager.

Position: General Manager

Number of Vacancies: 1

Pay Scale: The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary within Pay Band -5, ranging from Rs.65,000 to Rs.1,12,000/-, along with a Grade Pay of Rs.18,500/-. Additionally, other perks and allowances will be provided as per the company’s rules.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably with a post-graduate qualification in Engineering/Technology/Industrial Management from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• Minimum 20 years of working experience in senior, supervisory, or managerial positions in reputed Private Sector Companies, MNCs, State/Public Sector Enterprises, Central PSEs/Autonomous Bodies, or State/Central Government Departments.
• Thorough knowledge and exposure in Management, Industrial Planning, Project Implementation, Operations & Maintenance, Industrial Finance, Project Appraisal, Recovery of Loans, Project Monitoring, and Evaluation.

Age Limit:

• Minimum age: 45 years
• Maximum age: 55 years (as on the date of publication of the Advertisement)

Job Roles:

This is a senior managerial position reporting directly to the Managing Director. The incumbent will independently lead a group of 3/4 Technical Departments and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the functions of these departments to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
