Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Geo-informatics, Physics, or Computer Science with a Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geo-Informatics.

  OR

• B. Tech/M. Tech/MSc in GIS & Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics.

  OR

• MCA/MA/MSC in Geography, Geology, Mathematics, or Environmental Science with Geo-Informatics as one of the subjects or with a Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geo-Informatics.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in GIS software.
• Familiarity with spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, KMZ, etc.) and Geo Coordinate systems.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Docs/Spreadsheets, etc.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis, image processing, and tools for the development of geospatial data.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience:

• Networking skills and domain knowledge of GIS are required.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience or those who have worked in similar roles either with the central government or in leading states.
• Candidates with a Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) and proficiency in GIS will be given preference.

Age Limit:

• The candidate should not be below 23 years and above 38 years as of the last day of the preceding month of the advertisement’s publication.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years (up to 43 years).
• OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years (up to 41 years).
• Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years irrespective of category (i.e., up to 48 years).
