Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Admission

Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year (2024). (Candidates born on or after January 2nd, 2008, are not eligible to apply.)

Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc. (Paramedical Courses): Candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics. Biology is compulsory for dental courses (Dental Operating Room Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Operation Theatre Technology).
• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing: Applicants must have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with 55% for Gen/OBC (NCL)/EWS (50% in case of SCs/STs categories) in aggregate in the mentioned subjects. Only female candidates are eligible for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course.
• B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic):
  • Passed 12th class under 10+2 system of education or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from any institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • Registration as a nurse, RN, RM (registered nurse, registered midwife) with any State Nursing council.
