🔬 For Science Subjects:
- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics & English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English,
OR - 3-Year Diploma in Engineering,
OR - 2-Year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics.
📚 For Non-Science Subjects:
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and English,
OR - 2-Year Vocational Course with English as a subject.
🎂 Age Limit (as on date of enrolment)
- Minimum Age: 17.5 years
- Maximum Age: 21 years
- Candidates must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).
⚠️ Upper age limit is 21 years at the time of enrolment.
⚙️ Selection Process – Air Force Agniveer 02/2026
The recruitment process comprises three phases:
Phase I – Online Test
- Science and Non-Science subjects
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
Phase II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Adaptability Test I & II
- Conducted at designated Air Force centres
- Tests candidates’ physical strength, endurance, and adaptability to military life
Phase III – Medical Examination
- Conducted by IAF Medical Board
- Candidates must meet medical standards as per Air Force guidelines
