Indian Air Force Agniveer Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Born between: January 1, 2005, and July 1, 2008 (inclusive).
- Maximum Age: 21 years as of the enrolment date.
Marital Status and Pregnancy
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
- Female candidates must undertake not to marry or become pregnant during the engagement period.
Educational Qualifications
For Science Subjects:
- 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English (minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English).
- OR Three-year Diploma in Engineering (50% aggregate).
- OR Two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics (50% aggregate).
For Non-Science Subjects:
- 10+2 in any stream (50% aggregate and 50% in English).
- OR Two-year Vocational Course (50% aggregate).
Indian Air Force Agniveer Selection Process
Phase I: Online Test
- Science Subjects: 60 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, English).
- Non-Science Subjects: 45 minutes (English, Reasoning, General Awareness).
- Both Streams: 85 minutes (all subjects combined).
Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Male Candidates:
- 1.6 km run in 7 minutes.
- 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats.
- Female Candidates:
- 1.6 km run in 8 minutes.
- 10 sit-ups, 15 squats.
Phase III: Medical Examination
- Includes chest X-ray, ECG, and blood tests.
