APSC Water Resources Department AE Screening Test Schedule Out | Check Admit Card Release Date and Exam Pattern
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially released notifications (No. 71PSC/DR-34/2/2022-23 & No. 80PSC/DR-34/2/2024-25) announcing the schedule for the Screening Test (OMR Based) for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Engineer (Mechanical). This recruitment is under the Water Resources Department (Advt. No. 13/2025 & 15/2025).
Candidates who have applied for these technical posts can now prepare for the examination scheduled for January 2026. The commission has also confirmed that the e-Admission Certificate (Admit Card) will be available for download from 6th January 2026.

The Commission has decided to hold the OMR-based Screening Test for both Civil and Mechanical streams on the same day, 11th January 2026 (Sunday).

How to Download APSC AE Admit Card 2026?
The APSC has clearly stated that no intimation letter will be sent by post. Candidates must download their e-Admission Certificate from the official website. Follow these steps:
- Check Candidate List: On 02.01.2026, visit the APSC website to check the uploaded list of eligible candidates. Ensure your name/roll number is on the list.
- Visit Official Website: Go to www.apsc.nic.in on or after 06-01-2026.
- Navigate to Call Letters: Click on the “Call Letters/Admit Cards” section on the left sidebar.
- Select Exam: Look for the link “Download e-Admission Certificate for Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) under Water Resources Dept”.
- Login: Enter your Application ID/Roll Number and Date of Birth.
- Download & Print: Download the PDF and take a clear printout for the examination day.
Important Instructions for PwBD Candidates
Candidates belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category who require a Scribe for the Screening Test must inform the Commission in advance.
- Action Required: Send a request in writing along with supporting documents (Disability Certificate).
- Mode: You can send it via email to apsc-asm@nic.in.
- Deadline: The request must reach the commission on or before 04-01-2026.
