APSC JE (Mechanical) Admit Card 2025 — Screening Test (OMR) Notice
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will hold the Screening Test (OMR Based) for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) under the Water Resources Department (Advt. No. 18/2025, dated 05/05/2025). Candidates whose names appear in the list (to be uploaded on 15-12-2025) must download their e-Admission Certificate from the Commission’s website on or after 22-12-2025 and appear for the test on 28-12-2025 (Sunday).

Exam Pattern & Subjects (Screening Test)
Paper I — Mechanical Engineering
- Type: OMR-based objective questions
- Duration: 2 hours (10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon)
- Syllabus: Mechanical engineering core topics as per notification (refer to Advt. No. 18/2025 for syllabus)
Paper II — General Studies & General English
- Type: OMR-based objective questions
- Duration: 2 hours (1:30 PM – 3:30 PM)
- Syllabus: General awareness, current affairs, basic English comprehension and grammar

How to Download e-Admission Certificate (Admit Card)
- Visit the APSC official website: www.apsc.nic.in.
- On the home page, locate the link for “APSC JE (Mechanical) e-Admission Certificate 2025” (or check the Recruitment/Notices section).
- Click the link and enter your Application/Registration Number and Date of Birth (as required).
- Submit credentials — your e-Admission Certificate (PDF) will appear.
- Download and print at least two copies of the e-admission certificate. Keep one copy to submit at the exam centre if required.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- No hardcopy admission letter will be posted by APSC — candidates must download their e-Admission Certificate online.
- Verify all details on the admit card: name, roll/registration number, exam centre, date & timing. Report discrepancies immediately to APSC.
- Reach the exam centre well before reporting time mentioned on the e-Admission Certificate.
- Carry one valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence) along with the printed admit card.
- Electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices) are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- Follow COVID/health and safety protocols (if any) as per instructions on the admit card or by the centre authorities.
- Any candidate found to have submitted false information may have candidature cancelled at any stage.
Scribe / PwBD Candidates — How to Request a Scribe
- PwBD candidates who require a scribe for the Screening Test must inform the Commission in writing with supporting medical documents.
- Scribe request deadline: on or before 17-12-2025.
- How to apply for scribe: Send written intimation and supporting documents to APSC (postal address) or by email to: apsc-asm@nic.in (as per notice).
- Scribe guidelines (eligibility, qualifications for scribe, declaration) will be as per Commission’s norms — ensure you read the detailed notice.
Important Caution & Cancellation Clause
The Commission reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any time or stage, even after the Screening Test, if it is found that the candidate does not fulfill eligibility criteria or has provided incorrect information.
