1. Senior Information & Public Relations Officer:

Number of posts: 04 (UR: 03, OBC/MOBC: 01)

Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 13,900/-

Educational Qualifications:

👉Applicants must be graduates in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university. Professional or technical degrees will also be accepted.
👉Possession of a degree or diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a UGC-recognized institute is mandatory. Alternatively, candidates should have at least five years of experience in a responsible role in Journalism at a Newspaper/News/Public Relations Organization/Government Public Relations Department.
👉Proficiency in English is essential.
👉Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional or local language of the state is required.
👉Candidates must have knowledge of Computer Applications and should possess a minimum 6-month Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized government institute.

2. Junior Information & Public Relations Officer:

Number of posts: 04 (UR: 03, OBC/MOBC: 01)

Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-

Educational Qualifications:

👉Applicants must be graduates in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university. Professional or technical degrees will also be accepted.
👉Possession of a degree or diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a UGC-recognized institute is mandatory. Alternatively, candidates should have at least three years of experience in a responsible role in Journalism at a Newspaper/News/Public Relations Organization/Government Public Relations Department.
👉Proficiency in English is essential.
👉Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional or local language of the state is required.
👉Candidates must have knowledge of Computer Applications and should possess a minimum 6-month Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized government institute.

Age Criteria:

👉Candidates should be at least 21 years old and not more than 38 years old as of January 1, 2023.
👉SC/ST candidates have an age relaxation of 5 years, i.e., up to 43 years.
👉OBC/MOBC candidates have an age relaxation of 3 years, i.e., up to 41 years.
👉Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) have a relaxation of 10 years, irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR categories, as per government regulations.
