Position: Night Chowkidar at the Office of Assam Public Service Commission
- Number of Openings: 1
- Salary Range: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs.52,000/-, P.B. – 1 with Grade Pay of Rs. 3,900/-P.M (As per R.O.P 2017, Assam Gazette No. 74 Dispur, 17th March, 2017) Additional allowances as per applicable Rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: Applicants should be between 18 to 40 years as of 01-01-2023.
- Age relaxations:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates (up to 45 years)
- 3 years for OBC candidates (up to 43 years)
- 50 years for Ex-Servicemen (Unreserved), relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC & 5 years for SC/ST
- 10 years for Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD)
- Age relaxations:
- Age Verification: Considered based on documents like School/Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate or other government documents.
Educational Qualifications:
- Required: Passed Class VIII Examination
- Mandatory: Production of PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose or Employment Exchange Registration certificate of Assam along with the application form.

Under the Digital India initiative, APSC introduces its Online Recruitment portal via CSC-SPV (MeitY approved organization) with a processing fee of Rs. 47.20/- (inclusive of taxes) per candidate. Fee structure aligned with Govt. Notification No. FEG.32/2016/8-A dated Dispur the 28th October, 2016.
