Eligibility Criteria for APSC CCE Exam

Nationality:

Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Regional Language Proficiency:

Candidates should be proficient in speaking Assamese or any other official language, associate official languages of the State, or any tribal languages of the State.

Residency:

Candidates must be original inhabitants of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration:

Registration at a District Employment Office of Assam is mandatory.

Small Family Norms:

Submission of a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A is required during the application for the C.C. (Prelim) Examination.

Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of January 1, 2023.

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

The APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) comprises two successive stages:
