AAU Recruitment Vacancy Details
1. Research Fellow (RF)
No of posts: 1 (One) on contractual basis.
Educational Qualification: Minimum second class Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics /Statistics from any recognized University and working knowledge of computer application.
Pay: Rs.16,000/- +HRA+MA as admissible per month.
Age: Maximum age limit : 44 years as on 01-01.2018
2. PA to Director
No of posts: 1 (One)
Educational Qualification:
1) Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University with good command over Enghlish and knowledge of Computer Application.
2) Diploma in Stenography with a speed of 120 W. P. M in Short hand and 40 W. P. M in Type Writing.
Pay : Rs.8,000-35,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4,900/- -PM (pre-revised)
Age: Maximum age limit : 44 years as on 01-01.2018
3. Typist
No of posts: 1 (One)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University with high proficiency in Computer Typing application with a minimum speed of 40 w. p. m.
Pay : Rs. Rs.5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2,500/- -PM (pre-revised)
Age: Maximum age limit : 44 years as on 01-01.2018
Application Fee: DD/IPO amounting Rs.300/- in case of general category and Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST/PH category must accompany the application form in favour of Director, AERC, AAU,Jorhat. Duly filled-in application form and a set of self attested copies of other supporting documents are to be submitted to the Director, AERC, AAU Campus, Jorhat on or before the cut off date, i.e. August,13 2018.

General Instruction:
1. Mere possessing the required qualification will not make a candidate eligible for the post.
2. No TA/DA will be borne by the Centre for appearing in the test/interview, if called for.
3. DD/IPO amounting Rs.300/- in case of general category and Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST/PH category must accompany the application form in favour of Director, AERC, AAU,Jorhat. Duly filled-in application form and a set of self-attested copies of other supporting documents are to be submitted to the Director, AERC, AAU Campus, Jorhat on or before the cut-off date, i.e. August,13 2018.
4. In-service candidates shall have to send their application through proper channel. The age of a deserving candidate shall be relaxable by the number of full years of service rendered in AAU/ICAR/CSIR/DST/SAU & other Govt. Institutes up to a maximum of 5 years, as supported by the relevant documents.
5. Maximum age is relaxable for the candidates belonging to the reserved category as per Govt. Rules.
6. The services of the selected candidates shall be governed by new CPF Rules.
