Applications are invited for the recruitment of eight vacant positions within the Assam Cancer Care Foundation. The foundation, a collaborative effort between the Government of Assam and Tata Trusts, aims to establish a comprehensive distributed cancer care network across Assam. This initiative seeks to provide accessible and affordable care for the underserved population in the state.

The foundation operates eight hospitals across Assam, strategically located in Dibrugarh, Barpeta, Tezpur, Jorhat, Darrang, Lakhimpur, Kokrajhar, and Silchar. The distributed care model, conceptualized jointly by the Trusts and the Government of Assam, focuses on patient-centric cancer institutions that deliver standardized and affordable care closer to patients’ homes. It is expected to benefit 50% of Assam’s cancer patients. Key objectives include education, training, and human resource development in healthcare to address the growing need for cancer care, as well as directing, funding, supporting, and facilitating healthcare research, managing cancer registries, and addressing healthcare problems.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Medical Oncologist: DM/DNB in Medical Oncology from an NMC-recognized institution.
2. Surgical Oncologist: MCh/DNB in Surgical Oncology.
3. Resident – Surgical Oncology: MS/DNB in General Surgery.
4. Resident Anaesthetist: MD/DNB in Anaesthesia.
5. Radiologist: MD/DNB in Radiology.
6. Pathologist: MD/DNB in Pathology.
