Pay Scale: Successful candidates will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.70,500, inclusive of a Grade Pay of Rs.8,700 per month, along with additional allowances as per applicable rules.
Educational Qualifications Breakdown
Graduate Teacher (Arts):
- Arts/Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized Institution.
Graduate Teacher (Science):
- Science Graduate or Post Graduate with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized Institution.
Graduate Teacher (Hindi):
- Pravin/Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% marks.
- B.T/B.Ed. degree from a recognized University.
Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit):
- Shastri with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% marks.
- B.T/B.Ed. degree from a recognized University.
Medium Instructions:
- Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent in the relevant language or have a Diploma in the language.
- Different criteria apply to candidates from Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, and English Medium Schools.
Other Criteria:
- Nationality: Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam
- Age Limit: 21 to 38 years as of January 1, 2023
