In 2025, over 3,02,420 students appeared for the Assam Board Class 12 exams, conducted from February 13 to March 17. The exams were held in two shifts: morning (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and afternoon (1:30 PM to 4:30 PM). The results, announced on April 30, 2025, showcase impressive performances across all streams, with females outperforming males in pass percentages.

- Arts: 81.03%
- Vocational: 68.55%
The Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage, while the Vocational stream had the lowest. Notably, female students achieved higher pass percentages across all streams compared to their male counterparts.

Comparison with Assam HS Result 2024
Last year, the Assam HS Result 2024, announced on May 9, recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.64%. The stream-wise pass percentages were:
- Science: 90.29%
- Commerce: 88.28%
- Arts: 88.24%
In 2025, the overall pass percentage has slightly decreased, with Science maintaining a strong performance, while Arts and Commerce saw lower pass rates compared to 2024.
