Assam Legislative Assembly Recruitment 2017 invited for Under Secretary & Librarian Posts

Assam Legislative Assembly Recruitment 2017: Applications are  invited  from  the citizen of  India as defined  in the Article  5 &  8  of  the Constitution  of  India  for  filling  up  the following posts in the scale of pay as shown against the following:-

Vacancy Details:

1. Under Secretary

No. of post: 01 pos

Scale of pay: Rs. 12,000/- —  40,000/-  + Grade Pay Rs.  6,300/- P.M.  in Pay Band-4  and  admissible  allowances.

Educational Qualification:  The  candidate must  have  Post Graduate Degree  in  any  subject.

Eligibility Criteria: Any  person who  is  duly  selected  by  the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) through Combined Competitive Examination  for ACS  and Allied Services  and have the working experience of at least 3 ( three) years in the capacity of an Employment Officer may apply  for  the post.

2. Librarian

No. of post: 01 post

Scale of pay: Rs. 12,000/- — 40,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 5900/-P.M. in Pay Band-4  and  admissible  allowances.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must hold the Master Degree  in Library Science  from any  recognized University. Preference will  be  given  to  those who  have  got  5  (five) years of experience as Librarian  in any  institution and haying experience  in  operating  Library  related  software.

Age Limit: The candidate must not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years and not more than 43 (Forty three) years irrespective of if it is a fresh candidate or applying through proper channel (in case  of General  and OBC/MOBC  candidates)  at  the  time  of application  as  per Govt. OM No.ABP.06/2016/04,  dtd Dispur, the  3rd March,  2016  and Corrigendum No. ABP.06/2016/07, dtd Dispur  the 26th September, 2016. The upper age  limit  is relaxable by 5 years  for SC/ST (P) and ST (H) candidates as per prevailing Govt. Rule.

How to apply:

Application  in Standard Form  as  published  in Part-IX  of  the Assam  Gazette  with  self  attested  photo  copies  of  all Testimonials  including  the Certificate  in  proof  of  age  and  2 (two)  copies  of  recent  pass  port Size  photographs  should reach  the office of  the Principal Secretary, Assam Legislative Assembly, Dispur, Guwahati-781006 before 18-03-2017

* Candidates will have to super scribe the name of post applied for on  the  top of  the sealed envelope carrying  the application form.

* A  self  addressed  envelope  (size  22x10cm)  affixing  postal stamp of Rs. 5/-only will be submitted.

* Candidates  those who  are  in Government  service may  also apply  through  proper  channel.

*Caste Certificate  issued  by  competent  authority must  be enclosed  in  case  of  reserved  categories  candidates.
