Assam LP UP TET 2019- Exam To Held in September 2019 (Apply Online): Assam Government TET Assam Recruitment 2019- LP/ UP TET in September. After a gap of about seven years, the Assam Government is now planning to organize Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to fill the vacant posts of teachers in the schools. The Assam Education Department has decided to conduct fresh Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) levels on September 22 or 29, 2019.
TET Assam Recruitment 2019
The last TET examination was conducted in Assam in 2012 and more than 26,100 teachers were recruited at the primary and upper primary level. After 7 years of long, the Assam government decided to conduct a TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) test to complete the recruitment of teachers in various schools across the state. The Department of Examination has decided to operate the Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) level TET in September 2019.
LP UP TET Assam 2019
A meeting of the Empowered Committee was held on March 20, 2019 to discuss the issue of getting new teetas. The validity of the TET certificate of TET held in 2012, which has already expired and other related issues. During the meeting, it was decided that the validity of the Teacher Eligibility Test is only for seven years because the criteria for the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has already ended as the last TET was conducted in 2012 and after that some special TET was organized. As such, a proposal was sent to NCTE for extension of validity of the TET Certificate, by March 31, 2020.

Assam TET 2019 Application Fee
TET Assam Recruitment 2019 LP/ UP- As the whole process of TET examination is conducted through self generated fund i.e through the fee collected from the applicant, it was decided that tentatively application fees around Rs. 750 to Rs. 1000 may be collected through online mode, however relaxation may be to SC/ST/OBC candidates regarding the amount to be paid following certain standard or norms. The fee amount is to be decided in the next meeting to EC, TET.
Assam TET 2019 Educational Qualifications:
Lower Primary Level Teacher: Applicants must have 50% (45% Marks for SC/ST/OBC) marks in Higher Secondary or its equivalent [by whatever name known] from recognized institutes.
Upper Primary Teacher: Applicants should have Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with 2- Years Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or from recognized institutes 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from recognized institutes.

Assam TET 2019 Language/ mediums
The tentative date for the new TET examination is decided to be September 22 or 29 and will be conducted for the LP and UP level in the State of Assam. Moreover, the question papers will be printed in five mediums: Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo and English. As a third party may be engaged, the mode of submission and receipt of application will be online.
How to Apply Assam TET LP UP Application
Step 1: Visit www.rmsaassam.in, which is the official portal of RMSA.
Step 2: Apply Online Apply Online ‘and then download the notification before filling the application and read.
Step 3: Then, fill all the required details in the ATET Online Application Form 2019.
Step 4: Need to provide signature and photograph (scanned on applicable size and format).
Step 5: After this, the candidates need to pay Assam TET application fee through online procedure.
Step 6: The soon-to-fill applications will be rejected.
Step 7: Fees will be possible through credit card / internet banking / debit card.
Step 8: Take a print of the ATET form and confirmation page.
