SEBA had conducted the written examination for Grade III posts on August 28 and September 11, while for Grade IV posts, the written examination was conducted on August 21. As per the sources, SEBA will submit the result for the Grade III posts to the Recruitment Commission. The result is expected to be declared in the first week of November.

PM Modi Launches Rozgar Mela: 10 Lakh Vacancy: What Is It?

On 22 September 2022, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi launched a recruitment drive- Rojgar Mela for 10 lakh personnel. This campaign was started with the aim of fulfilling the government’s promises of providing employment opportunities to its citizens.

The campaign was launched by the PM through video conferencing. A total of 75,000 newly appointed recruits were offered appointment letters. During the distribution PM Modi said, “The job fair is an important milestone in the government’s efforts for employment and self-employment in the last eight years to recruit 10 lakh people.”

Today India is the fifth largest economy in the world. It said it is a breeding ground for many companies to set up as well as expand their business on Indian soil. Now, the government is working towards expanding sectors like manufacturing and tourism, launching big development projects as these have high potential to generate employment for the people.

PM Modi mentioned that despite many economies facing issues of inflation and unemployment, India became the 5th largest economy in the last eight years, rising from 10th to 5th position. All this has been possible with the collective cooperation of Indian citizens.

Under the new recruitment drive, fresh recruits will be made from across the country and will join 38 Ministries/Departments of the Government of India.

The central government is carrying out the recruitment process in mission mode. Ministries and departments will recruit individuals either on their own or through recruitment agencies like UPSC, SSC and Railway Recruitment Boards. In order to make recruitment effective and fast, the selection procedures have been simplified and made technically efficient.

Citing an official statement, Indian news agency PTI reported that fifty Union ministers will be given the responsibility of distributing appointment letters to over 20,000 people at various places across India under the employment fair. The posts that are being assigned to the new recruits include Central Armed Forces Personnel, Sub Inspector, Constable, LDC, Steno, PA, Income Tax Inspector and MTS.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed the departments to fill up the vacant posts by 2023.

During the launch, Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar handed over appointment letters to the selected youths in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, where the program was organized.

He addressed that ‘Rozgar Mela’ is distributing 75000 appointment letters among the government job aspirants. In addition, Modi has confirmed that the Center is working on several fronts to create maximum employment opportunities for the youth.

PM Modi has further said that the ill effects of the long-standing pandemic will not disappear within 100 days. But India is in a better position than other economies. In an effort to save the country from being affected by these problems, India is taking new initiatives and some risks.

He has said that despite the task being challenging, the Indian government is working to minimize the impact on the country. The country has not yet experienced any serious consequences.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had sent 75000 appointment letters electronically to job aspirants.

The recruits appointed from different regions of the country will be involved in 38 Ministries or Departments of the Government of India.

They will join the government at various levels such as Group A (Gazetted), B (Non-Gazetted), and C.

The recruitments are done by the Ministries and Departments either on their own or with the help of other recruiting agencies such as UPSC, SSC and Railway Recruitment Boards.

The selection procedures have been simplified and made technically competent for speedy recruitment. This has resulted in an easier process.

In June, Narendra Modi had asked various government departments and ministries to recruit 10 lakh people within a year and a half.

The appointments are made to various posts which include Central Armed Forces personnel, Sub-Inspector, Constable, LDCS, Stenographer, PA, Income Tax Inspector and MT as per the statements issued by the Government of India.
