Position Details
1. Cluster Prevention Officer (CPO)
- Number of Posts: 05
- Remuneration: Rs. 45,000 per month
Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, or Management.
- 5 years of experience in the development sector, with a minimum of 3 years in HIV/AIDS work, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Sound understanding of issues related to High-Risk Group populations and experience in designing and implementing Targeted Intervention strategies for groups such as Female Sex Workers, Transgenders, Injected Drug Users, Migrants, Truckers, and Prisoners.
- Desirable:
- PG diploma or fellowship in HIV/AIDS from a government-recognized institution.
- Familiarity with the organization and functions of state and local public health systems/State AIDS Control Societies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local languages.
- Previous experience in the State/UT is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer and internet use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
