Assam : Teacher And Other Employee Of Educational Institutes To Join Office From September 21: Education Department, Govt. of Assam has released an important notification regarding attending the educational institutes by all employees i.e., both teaching and non-teaching staff. In this regard, a notification has been published.
As per the notification all employees both teaching and non-teaching staff of Schools, Colleges, Universities, Technical Colleges/Institutions and Teacher Training Institutions/Colleges will undergo COVID-19 test upto 18th September, 2020 as per protocol of District Administration and Health and Family Welfare Department issued from time to time.
Further, Teachers (50% of teaching and non-teaching staff at a time) should attend their respective Institutions w.e.f. 21st September, 2020 for which subsequent instructions will be issued by the Education Department Govt. of Assam based on the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which will be developed by the MoHFW (Govt. of India).
Earlier, Govt. of Assam asked all teachers and other official employees of educational institutions in Assam, from primary school to universities to mandatorily attend their office on 1st September.
