Vacancy Details
Name of post: Guest Faculty in Department of Political Science
No. of posts: 1
Remuneration: Rs. 1500/- per lecture with a ceiling of Rs 50,000 per month.
Detailed Eligibility Criteria
As per the university guidelines, candidates must fulfill either of the following criteria (A or B):
Category A:
- Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Political Science or a concerned/allied subject from an Indian or recognized foreign university.
- Professional Qualification: Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET.
- Exemption: Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (and subsequent amendments) are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.
Category B:
- A Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the Top 500 in the World University Rankings (QS, THE, or ARWU) at any point in time.

Selection will be based strictly on performance during the personal interview.
