i) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university.

ii) Clearing the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET. Alternatively, candidates with a Ph.D. Degree are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.

B.

A Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the Times Higher Education (THE), or the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
