📌 Name of Post: Junior Accounts Assistant
📌 Number of Posts: 1
📌 Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 (Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 59,000) + Grade Pay of Rs. 7,400/- with other admissible allowances

🔹 Educational Qualification 🔹

To be eligible for the Junior Accounts Assistant position, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

✅ Candidates should have obtained a 1st Class in B.Com. with Accountancy as a major or a 1st Class with Honours Course in B.Com under CBCS from a recognized university or institution.

🔹 Desirable Experience 🔹

Candidates with the following experience will be preferred:

✅ Working experience in any government organizations, institutions, or reputed private organizations.
✅ Basic computer knowledge, including Tally, e-filing of GST, TDS, Professional tax, Labour cess, C.P.F., etc.

🔹 Age Limit 🔹

The minimum age requirement for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 38 years as of January 1, 2023. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the Government of Assam norms. ⌛🗓️

🔹 Selection Procedure 🔹

The selection process for the Junior Accounts Assistant position will consist of the following stages:

🎯 Stage 1: Written Test (150 marks)
The written test will include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering the following areas:

🔸 General knowledge
🔸 English language
🔸 Test of reasoning and arithmetic
🔸 Bookkeeping and other accounts-related questions

🎯 Stage 2: Skill (Practical) Test (50 marks)
The practical test will assess the candidates’ practical knowledge in the following areas:

🔸 Information technology (IT)
🔸 Taxation
🔸 Auditing in a computer lab

🎯 Stage 3: Academic Qualification Assessment (50 marks)
Candidates’ academic qualifications from Class 10th onwards up to the graduation level will be evaluated for this stage.
