Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environment Planning, Environment Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent fields, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in the same subjects from a recognized university.
• Experience:
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in infrastructure or related fields, including at least 8 years of specific experience in:
    • Planning, designing, and implementing environmental management plans
    • Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and other readiness checklists.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Knowledge of ADB’s Safeguard Policy Statement 2009, Environmental Policy, and Frameworks.
    • Experience in applying ADB environment guidelines is an advantage.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are desirable.
    • Work experience in planning, design, and implementation of safeguard elements in externally aided/MDB projects in the integrated urban sector is also desirable.
