Qualifications Required
To qualify for the Fire Officer role, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Possession of a B.E. in Fire from the prestigious National Fire Services College (NFSC) in Nagpur.
- Completion of a four-year Graduation Degree (B Tech / BE or equivalent) in Fire Technology, Fire Engineering, or Safety and Fire Engineering from an AICTE/UGC approved college or university.
- Obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university by AICTE/UGC, accompanied by the Divisional Offices course from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
- Having a Bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by AICTE/UGC, coupled with graduation from the Institute of Fire Engineers India or the Institute of Fire Engineering – UK.
- Attaining a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by AICTE/UGC, alongside completing the Station Officer course or Sub-officer course from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
