Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualifications and Selection Procedure:

The qualifications and selection process will adhere to Government Office Memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated 24.01.2022. It is mandatory for candidates to have NET/SLET/SET qualifications.

Candidates with a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point scale.

A relaxation of 5% marks will be provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories.

Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991 are eligible for a 5% marks relaxation.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates should possess a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and proficiency in the local language.
