ELIGIBILITY :

The candidates must have served not less than 5 years of continuous service as L.D. Assistant/Copyist/Typist/Computer Typist in the establishment of the District and Sessions Judges of Assam, as laid down in the “Assam District and Sessions Judges establishment (Ministerial) Service Rule, 1987”. The candidate not fulfilling the said criteria need not apply.

How to Apply for UDA (Upper Division Assistant) Posts:

To apply for the UDA (Upper Division Assistant) posts in Biswanath Judiciary, follow the application process outlined below:

1. Submission of Application: Intending candidates should submit their applications through the proper channel to “The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Biswanath, District Judicial Court Campus, Biswanath, PO & PS- Biswanath Chariali, PIN 784176, Dist – Biswanath, Assam.” You can either submit your application in person or send it via post.

2. Application Requirements: Ensure that your application is accompanied by the following documents:(i) Three recent colored passport size photographs of the applicant.

   (ii) Certificate confirming a minimum of 5 years of continuous service as L.D. Assistant/Copyist/Typist/Computer Typist in the establishment of the District and Sessions Judges of Assam. This certificate should be issued by the respective District and Sessions Judge.

   (iii) Self-attested copies of all the testimonials supporting your educational qualification, experience, and caste.

   (iv) Copy of Service Book.

   (v) Copies of ACRs (Annual Confidential Reports) of the last 5 preceding years.

   (vi) Email ID and contact number of the applicant.

   Note: Reservation will be as per Government rules.

3. Application Envelope: The envelope containing your application should clearly indicate the name of the post applied for in block letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF UDA (Upper Division Assistant).”
4. Application Deadline: The last date for receipt of application forms is 25-07-2023 (Tuesday) until 05.00 P.M. Applications received after the deadline will not be entertained. Please note that the appointing authority will not be responsible for any postal delays under any circumstances.
5. Viva-Voce and Interview: Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Viva-Voce (oral interview) along with the relevant original documents. The list of eligible candidates, along with the dates and venue of the interview, will be uploaded on the official website of Biswanath Judiciary (https:/districts.ecourts.gov.in/biswanath) in due course. No separate call letters will be issued. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for further details.
