Qualification: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized University with a Degree/Diploma in Physical Education from a recognized University/Institution of Physical Education in India or3/4 years BPES/BPEd. Degree (recognized by Govt.) from a recognized University/Institution of Physical Educationin India.

3. Coach

Qualification: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized University with one year Diploma in Sports Coaching from Netaji Subhash National Instituteof Sports (NSNIS) or its equivalent post graduate degree/diploma in sports coaching from any other institute recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt.of India/UGC.

The age of candidates for the posts of Sub-Divisional Sports Officer (SDSO), Physical Instructor (P.I.) & Coach must not be more than 40 years and not less than 21 years of age as on 31-03-2023.
The Upper age limits of candidates is relaxable as per Govt. OM No. APB.6/2016/51 dated Dispur, the 2nd September, 2020 and the Documents like affidavit etc. shall not be accepted as proof of age.
i. By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
