Bodoland Territorial Council, Assam has announced the recruitment of 42 posts of Grade-III and Grade-IV. The recruitment is for the following posts:

1. Grade-III (Junior Administrative Assistant)

Number of Posts: 20

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline.
• The candidate must have a one-year certificate course in computer application from any government-recognized institute.

2. Stenographer (III)

Number of Posts: 12

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline.
• The candidate must have an SCVT/NCVT Certificate in Stenography (English) from any government-recognized ITI with strokes of 80 wpm and type 40 words per five minutes or a Diploma certificate in Stenography (English) from any government-recognized institution with strokes of 80 wpm and type 40 words per five minutes.
• The candidate must have a one-year certificate course in computer application from any government-recognized institute.

3. Grade-IV

Number of Posts: 10

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have passed HSLC.

Other Details of BTC Recruitment:

• Domicile: Only candidates who are permanent residents of the BTC area are eligible to apply. The names of the applicants must be enrolled in the District Employment Exchange offices of the BTR area.
• Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years.

Application Fee Details for BTC Recruitment 2023

Candidates who are eligible and interested in applying for the Grade-III and Grade-IV posts in the BTC Recruitment 2023 must pay an application fee. The application fee details are as follows:

• For General/OBC/MOBC candidates: The application fee is Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) only.
• For SC/ST candidates: The application fee is Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred) only.

Payment Mode:

• • Treasury Challan: Candidates can deposit the application fee amount in the form of a Treasury Challan payable to Kokrajhar Treasury only. The Challan must be paid in favour of Principal Secretary, BC, Kokrajhar, payable at Kokrajhar Treasury only under the Head of Account – 8443 civil deposit, Personnel Deposit, BTC. Only the Challan paid at Kokrajhar Treasury will be accepted.
  • IPO: Candidates can also pay the application fee in the form of an IPO payable to the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar.

Submit the application form to the address mentioned in the official notification before the last date of submission.

How to Apply for BTR Recruitment 2023?

If you meet the required eligibility criteria, you can apply for the Grade-III and Grade-IV positions at Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) by following the steps mentioned below:

1. Fill the Standard Form of Application: Eligible candidates must fill the application form in the Standard Form of Application.

2. Apply through Proper Channels: If you are currently working in government, semi-government, public undertaking, or any other similar organisation/corporation/board/body, you must apply through proper channels. Ensure that your application reaches the board’s office within the specified date, or it will be rejected. Please note that no advance copy of the application shall be considered for the determination of the eligibility of candidates.

3. Submit Recent Identical Coloured Passport Size Photographs: You must furnish 2 (two) copies of recent identical coloured passport size photographs signed across by the candidates along with the application.

4. Submit Required Documents: Photocopies of educational qualification certificates from HSLC onwards along with certificates to prove computer proficiency and stenography (as applicable) must be submitted. Candidates belonging to General/OBC category must furnish Permanent Resident Certificate of BTC/Domicile Certificate/Certificate from Municipality (for candidates from urban areas)/Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) certificates (for candidates from rural areas)/certified copy of Electoral Roll to prove residential status. Candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC must furnish a photocopy of the Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority. Candidates must sign all the photocopies of documents furnished by them as certified to be true copies.

5. Prepare Envelope: The completed application form, along with testimonials, and one self-addressed envelope (Size 23 cm x 10cm) affixing a postal stamp of Rs.5/-, must be superscribed with the name of the post applied for on the top of the envelope.
6. Send Application: The completed application form, duly filled up by the candidates with testimonials, should be submitted to “The Secretary, Secretariat Administrative Department (SAD), BTC Secretariat, BodofaNwgwr, Kokrajhar, BTC, Assam, Pin-783370”.
