CBSE 10th and 12th Pending Exams to Be Held After Lockdown: The Central Board of Secondary Education has again announced its decision to hold Class X and XII examinations after lifting the lockdown. Board officials further said it informed students intimately at least 10 days before taking the test. Meanwhile, students can prepare for board exams. During a video conference meeting earlier this week, the HRD minister told us that the test would be held as soon as the lockdown was completed.

 

After the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) coroner virus lockdown is over, after assessing the situation, all the remaining examinations in 29 main subjects will be held for the students of 10th and 12th class boards. The HRD ministry is ready to examine the pending board for Class X and 12 for 29 important subjects for the first prospect, officials said. It has also directed the Ministry to start the assessment process for the examinations already conducted and to facilitate the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the assessment of answer scripts.

As mentioned earlier, if the closure is extended to 3 May 2020, students can expect the exam to be scheduled within 10 days. At the same meeting, the HRD minister asked the state education ministers to start the process of checking the transcripts of the responses. The Delhi government has asked the central government to recommend students in grades 10 and 12 based on their performance in internal examinations.

Sanyam Bharadwaj, CBSE’s regulator of examinations, said, “There has been a lot of speculation about the CBSE board exams recently. The decision of the board to give examinations in 29 subjects of 10th and 12th class is the same. There has been no change in the position of conducting board examinations. So the test will be taken. CBSE officials clarified the confusion, saying the test would be confirmed only after the lockout.

Previously, Class X and XII examinations for the suspended subjects of the CBSE Board would be held for only 29 core subjects. Boards have selected the notable subjects required for admission to colleges. As per the earlier announcement, in the north-eastern regions of Delhi, Class X examinations will not be conducted but now the canceled examinations will be rescheduled as per the latest order.

In an earlier tweet, CBSE said, “There has been a lot of speculation about the 10th CBSE board exam recently. It is reiterated that the decision of the Board to conduct Board Examinations for 29 subjects of Class X and XII has remained the same, as stated in the notification dated 1.4.20. “

Earlier on Monday, Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said, “As soon as the national lockdown is lifted and the situation returns to normal, the government will announce the schedule for holding CBSE exams in the country.”

According to HRD ministry officials, so far there are plans to conduct competitive examinations, including JAI and NEET, in June for admission to engineering and medical colleges.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct Class X and XII examinations for only 29 major subjects which are necessary and necessary for admission in higher education institutions.

Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal told the Premier Board that millions of students jumped out of their annual exams due to the Nishanka Koron virus crisis.

In a tweet, Nishank said that due to the current situation, the CBSE will examine the board for only 29 major subjects which are required for admission and promotion in the next session.

“The board will not conduct examinations for the remaining subjects. Instructions will be issued separately for identification or evaluation in all such cases,” he added.

The board will do so after giving adequate notice when it is in a position to test 29 subjects.

The decision was taken after a detailed meeting between Education Secretary Amit Khar and other top officials.

Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will also promote all students from Class I to VIII to the next grade following the current coronavirus lockdown.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has requested these schools that ninth and twelfth grade students be promoted to the next grade on the basis of school-based assessments, projects, periodic examinations, term examinations conducted so far.

“In view of the current situation due to Kovid 19, I have advised CBSE to upgrade all students studying from class I to VIII to the next class or grade,” the minister said in a tweet.

He said ninth and twelfth class students would be promoted on the basis of school-based assessment including school-based projects, periodic examinations, term examinations etc.

Significantly, it has also been decided that students promoted during this time can take school-based exams online or offline.

According to an official, CBSE schools may start online classes soon.

The Ministry of HRD and CBSEO are closely examining the possibilities of giving maximum possible solutions to the students of Class X and XII whose annual examinations have been disrupted.

Subjects of class 10 for which exams will be held:

1. To be conducted for North East Delhi: Hindi Course A, Hindi Course B, English Communication, English Language and Literature, Science, and Social Science.

2. To be conducted for whole of India: Nil

Subjects of class 12 for which exams will be held:

1. To be conducted for whole of India: Business Studies, Geography, Hindi (Elective), Hindi (Core), Home Science, Sociology, Computer Science (Old), Computer Science (New), Information Practice (Old), Information Practice (new), Information Technology, and Bio-Technology.

2. To be conducted for North East Delhi: English Core, Mathematics, Economics, Biology, Political Science, History, English Elective – N, English Elective -C, Physics, Accountancy, and Chemistry.
