How does the Nervous system works?
When the sense organ in our body is affected, it sends the message impulses through the sensory neurons. The brain analyses this message and decided the action to be taken. The brain than sends out instruction to the muscle of the concerned body part through motor nerves. The concerned body part then acts according to the instructions sent by the brain.

Brain is the highest coordinating center in the body. The brain is located inside the skull of our body. It is protected by a bony box into skull called crotum. The brain is upraised by these membranes called meninges. Which help to protect it. The space between the membranes is filled with a cerebro membrane. And it is filled with a cerebro spinal fluid which protects the brain from the mechanical shocks.
The brain is broadly divided into three fore brain. The fore brain consists mainly of cerebrum. The mid brain does not have any further divisions.
What are Functions of Brain?
The brain receives the information carrying nerves impulses from all the sensory organs of the body.
The brain responds to the impulses brought in by sensory organs by sending its own instruction to the muscles and glands causing them to functions accordingly.
