CBSE Postponed CTET July 2020 Exam: new date to be announced later: The Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to postpone the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) till July 2020 due to the coronavirus epidemic in the country.
The CBSE Director and Secretary, CBSE, issued a notice on Thursday stating that the fourth edition of the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) – July 20, 2020 – will be scheduled for July 5.
The notice further reads that “The next date of examination will be intimated when situation is more conducive for conduct of examinations. All the candidates registered for CTET July 2020 are hereby informed that for any update they may visit CTET website www.ctet.nic.in regularly.”

CBSE Postponed CTET July 2020 Exam Until Further Notice
Earlier, the CTET was scheduled to be held on July 5, which was later postponed. A new date for the CTET exam will be published on the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.
There will be two papers for CTET – first paper and second paper. The first letter is for those candidates who are interested in becoming a teacher for first to fourth class and the second letter is for candidates who want to be a teacher for sixth to eighth class. Candidates who want to be teachers of both levels (first class to fourth and sixth to eighth class) can appear in both research papers (first paper and second paper second).
In July 2020, the online application process for CTET began on January 1 and ended in February, 2020. Candidates were given till February 2 to pay the application fee for CTET July 20.
Following the announcement of the new date of CTET, CBSEO will publish the CTET admission form on the official website 10 days before the examination. Admission details will be released in due course. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of CTET regularly to get the latest information of the exam.
