  • For Deputation/Absorption:
    • Officers from Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts or with 5 years of regular service in Pay Level-13A.

  • BE/BTech: 20 years
  • ME/MTech: 15 years
  • Ph.D.: 10 years

2. Scientist-C

• Qualification:
  • First Class BE/BTech/MCA OR
  • Postgraduate in Engineering/Technology OR
  • First Class Postgraduate degree in Science OR
  • Ph.D. in relevant disciplines.
• Experience:
  • BE/BTech/MCA: 3 years
  • Postgraduate in Engineering/Technology: 1 year
  • Postgraduate in Science: 3 years
  • Ph.D.: No experience required
