The Charaideo District Judiciary has released an important notification regarding the recruitment of Peon posts in the district court. According to the latest update issued by the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Charaideo, the list of accepted and rejected candidates has now been officially published.

This notification comes as a continuation of the earlier advertisement released under Memo No. DJCHA/2025/2202-2205 dated 26 September 2025 and the corrigendum issued later in March 2026.

Candidates who applied for the Peon vacancies can now check whether their applications have been accepted or rejected. The judiciary has also allowed applicants to submit objections if they find any discrepancy in the published list.

This recruitment drive aims to fill four Peon vacancies in the Charaideo District Judiciary.

A total of 269 candidates have been accepted for further consideration in the recruitment process.

These candidates have successfully met the eligibility criteria and submitted valid applications according to the recruitment guidelines.

Rejected Candidates

A total of 255 candidates have been rejected during the application screening process.

Objection Submission Process

Candidates must submit their objections within 7 days from the date of publication of the notification.

Late submissions will not be considered.

Charaideo Judiciary Vacancy Details

Name of Post and Number of Posts

The recruitment drive is for the post of Peon. A total of 3 (three) vacancies are available under the Charaideo Judiciary.

Scale of Pay

Selected candidates for the Peon post will receive a competitive salary package. The scale of pay is Rs. 12,000-Rs. 52,000/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3,900/- (PB-1).

Eligibility Criteria and Qualification

Candidates must meet the following educational qualification:

• Minimum Qualification: Applicants must have passed Class VIII.
• Important Note: Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class XII) or any higher qualification shall be ineligible to apply. Suppressing higher educational qualifications will lead to punishment as per law.

How to Apply for Charaideo Judiciary Recruitment 2025

Eligible and interested candidates must follow these steps to apply for the Peon posts:

1. Application Form: Obtain the standard form of application as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX.
2. Filling the Form: Fill all the required fields in Block Letters using only a Black/Blue ball pen.
3. Photograph: Paste one recent passport-size colour photograph in the designated box on the application form.
4. Signature: Affix the applicant’s signature in the specified place.
5. Contact Details & Category: Write the candidate’s phone number on the top of the Standard Form with red ink, along with their category (UR/OBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)).
6. Self-Addressed Envelope: Enclose one self-addressed envelope of 5 cm x 11 cm, affixing a postal stamp of Rs. 5/- (five) only.
7. Self-Attestation: All documents furnished with the application must be self-attested by the candidate.
8. Documents to Attach:
   • Age certificate
   • Educational qualification certificate (Class VIII mark sheet/certificate)
   • Caste certificate (from competent authority, if applicable)
   • Up-to-date Employment registration certificate
9. Submission Method:
   • Drop Box: Filled-up application forms along with all necessary documents must be dropped in the “Drop Box for Peon” placed at the premise of the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Charaideo.
   • Post/Courier: Applications can also be sent by post/courier addressed to “The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Charaideo, Sonari, Pin Code-785690, Assam.” Please note that these will also be received in the drop box only.
10. Envelope Marking: The name of the post, “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PEON,” must be clearly mentioned at the top of the envelope.

Last Date for Application Submission: Applications, whether received by post or in the Drop Box, must be submitted on or before 24.10.2025 during office hours. Ensure your application reaches the office well before the closing date to avoid any last-minute issues.
