Chief Minister’s special scholarship scheme was started by the Assam Government in 2012. In this scholarship scheme, Directorate of Primary Education, Assam organizes a competitive exam for students of class 5th and 8th in every academic year and will be rewarded for successful students. Chief Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme Examination 2018 will be organized on 5 and 6 January 2019 by the Examination Authority for all students of class V and Class VIII of Assam. Under this special scholarship scheme, the Assam Government searches for talented students of Assam and also provides an eligibility base scholarship amount.
