• Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Number of Posts: 6

Essential Qualification:

• M. Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the M. Sc. Final examination.
• Physics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level.

Remuneration:

• Rs. 37,000/-p.m. + HRA (Consolidated) initially.
• After two years, it will be raised to Rs. 42,000/- + HRA per month, subject to satisfactory performance.
• Support for attending conferences/workshops/schools and partial support for attending conferences abroad during Ph.D. tenure.

Age Limit:

• Not more than 28 years on 31/01/2024.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled candidates as per Govt. of India notifications.
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for Differently-abled persons.

Selection Procedure:

• Shortlisted candidates will undergo a national-level written test conducted by CPP-IPR.
• Followed by an interview.
• NET/JEST/GATE qualified candidates may appear for the interview directly.
