CBSE Releases Exam City Information for February 2026 Session – Download Your Pre-Admit Card Now!


CTET Admit Card 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the Exam City Intimation Slip for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. Candidates who applied for the February session can now check their allotted exam city and date to make necessary travel arrangements.

The CTET 2026 Exam is scheduled to be held on 7 & 8 February 2026 across 132 cities in India. This offline, OMR-based examination is the gateway for aspiring teachers to qualify for positions in Central Government schools like KVS, NVS, and others.

How to Check CTET 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip

Candidates must note that the city intimation slip is not the final admit card. It is a preliminary document to inform the candidate about the location of the exam. Follow these steps to download your slip:

  1. Visit Official Portal: Go to the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
  2. Find the Link: Look for the link titled “View Center City for CTET Feb 2026” on the homepage.
  3. Enter Credentials: Input your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Security Pin: Enter the captcha code shown on the screen.
  5. Submit & View: Click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your exam city, date, and paper details will appear.
  6. Download: Save a copy for your reference.

CTET 2026 Exam Schedule and Pattern

The exam will be conducted in two shifts for Paper I and Paper II. Both papers consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be solved in 150 minutes.

  • Online Application Started: 27 November 2025
  • Last Date for Registration: 18 December 2025
  • City Intimation Release: 23 January 2026
  • Final Admit Card Release: 2 days before the exam date

CTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria & Fees

  • Paper I: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks and possess a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
  • Paper II: Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or equivalent.

Application Fee Structure:

  • General/OBC (NCL): ₹1000 (One Paper) | ₹1200 (Both Papers)
  • SC/ST/Diff. Abled: ₹500 (One Paper) | ₹600 (Both Papers)
