This national-level entrance exam serves as a mandatory gateway for admission into Undergraduate (UG) programs in all Central Universities (like Delhi University, BHU, JNU, AMU) and other participating State, Deemed, and Private Universities.

Eligible candidates who have passed or are appearing in their Class 12th Board Exams can now submit their applications via the official website. The deadline to apply is 30th January 2026. Eligibility Criteria for CUET UG 2026

Before filling out the form, aspirants must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the NTA.

1. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Class 12th (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Candidates appearing in the Class 12th final examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply.

2. Age Limit

• No Age Limit: According to NTA rules, there is no minimum or maximum age limit for appearing in the CUET (UG) – 2026.
• Note: However, candidates must fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the specific University/Institution/Organization where they desire admission.

CUET UG 2026 Application Fees

The application fee varies based on the number of subjects chosen and the candidate’s category.

• General / UR: Rs. 1000/-
• OBC (NCL) / EWS: Rs. 900/-
• SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: Rs. 800/-

(Note: Additional fees apply for selecting subjects beyond the base limit. Payment must be made online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI).

CUET UG 2026 Selection Process

The admission process through CUET UG involves the following stages:

1. Written Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT) covering Language, Domain Subjects, and General Test.
2. Result Declaration: NTA will release the scorecards.
3. Counselling: Participating Universities will conduct their own counseling based on the CUET Score.
4. Document Verification & Admission: Final seat allotment by the respective university.

2. Registration: Click on “New Registration” and create an account using your Email ID and Mobile Number.
3. Fill Application Form: Login using the generated Application Number and Password. Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and university/program preferences.
4. Select Subjects: Carefully choose the subjects for the exam (Languages, Domain-Specific Subjects, and General Test).
5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature, and Category Certificate (if applicable).
6. Pay Fee: Complete the payment process online.
7. Print Confirmation: Download and print the Confirmation Page for future reference.
