DC Goalpara Field Officer Position Details
Position: Field Officer (Disaster Management) – Contractual Basis
Assigned Areas: Balijana and Rongjuli Revenue Circle

Eligibility Criteria: Shape Your Future
To be considered for this challenging yet rewarding role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science or a diploma in Civil Engineering or Agriculture from a recognized university/institution. The degree should ideally include subjects like Statistics, Geography, Environmental Science, or Geology.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 35 years as of January 1, 2024, with relaxation for SC/ST candidates as per rules.
- Additional Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet usage, and email. A minimum of six months of Computer Application Diploma is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with a BCA or equivalent course in computer science.
Duty Station and Contract Details
The selected Field Officer will be stationed at Balijana and Rongjuli Revenue Circles, working under the direct control and supervision of the Circle Officer. The initial contract will be for one year, subject to annual renewal based on performance appraisal and government instructions.
Attractive Remuneration Package
Successful candidates will receive a fixed and consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 20,000, inclusive of:
- Pay: Rs. 15,000
- Mobility Allowance: Rs. 4,000
- Telephone charges – Rs. 1,000/-
Interview Assessment
The interview will be for 100 marks with the following breakdown:
- (a) Marks obtained in Graduation/Diploma level exam = 50 marks
- (b) Knowledge of Disaster Management issues = 20 marks
- (c) Knowledge of Computer = 20 marks
- (d) Attitude & personality traits etc. = 10 marks
