SCERT Department of School Education Assam Recruitment 2024 Details:
Position: Assistant Director (in the rank of Assistant Professor)

Pay Scale:
The salary range for the position is between ₹30,000 to ₹1,10,000, with a grade pay of ₹13,900/-.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university.
- M.Ed with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized university.
- Candidates must also hold NET/SLET certification from UGC or a Ph.D. in Education or the concerned subject from a recognized institution.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using ICT for educational purposes.
- Candidates with publications in national or international research journals will be given preference.
Age Limit:
- The age of applicants should be between 21 to 38 years as of 01.01.2024.
- Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: Up to 43 years.
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 41 years.
- PWBD: Up to 10 years, regardless of category (SC/ST/OBC/UR).
