Dibrugarh University, Assam, is seeking eligible candidates for the positions of Research Assistant and Field Investigator for an ICSSR funded project titled “A Study on Health-Related Quality of Life of the Elderly in Assam and Issues Related to Accessibility and Affordability of Health Services” at the Department of Statistics. Established in 1965 under the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, by the Assam Legislative Assembly, Dibrugarh University is the easternmost University in India. It is renowned for its research and innovation and serves as a significant hub for understanding the socio-cultural dynamics of North East India. The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and holds recognition from universities in India and abroad. It is located at Rajabheta, five kilometers south of Dibrugarh town.

Salary: Rs. 37,000/- per month
Qualification: Ph.D./M.Phil./Post Graduate in Anthropology/Economics/Geography/Political Science/Psychology/Statistics/Sociology.
2. Field Investigator
Number of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Qualification: Post Graduate in Anthropology/Economics/Geography/Political Science/Psychology/Statistics/Sociology.
