Assam Historical & Antiquarian Studies Recruitment 2025 – Overview

1. Supervisor
- Total Posts: 02
- Age Limit: 35 to 60 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹30,000/-
- Required Districts: Nalbari, Golaghat, Jorhat, Sivasagar
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field research, heritage documentation or cultural project coordination
- Preference given to candidates with a Master’s degree
2. Field Investigator
- Total Posts: 10
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹20,000/-
- Required Districts: Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Tinsukia
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in cultural documentation, community-based research or manuscript-related fieldwork
- Proficiency in Tai Language & Old Assamese Language
- Must be willing to travel extensively to remote areas
Terms & Conditions
- Candidates must be between 21–60 years of age as of 01.01.2025
- No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided
- Engagement is purely contractual and no claim for permanent absorption
- Candidates must bring CV, three passport photos, original certificates + photocopies
- Department reserves the right to cancel/postpone interview without notice
- Shortlisted candidates list will be available on the official notice board & departmental website
- Selection committee decision will be final & binding
