Eligibility Criteria:

(a) Candidate must have rendered continuous service as Lower Divisional Assistant (LDA) in a Government Department of Assam. (Preferably Judicial Department) for at least 5 (Five) years.
(b) He/She must be a permanent resident of the State of Assam.

Selection Process:-

Oral Interview/ Viva-Voce.

How to Apply:-

(a) The applicant must submit their application in a Standard form of Application published in the Assam Gazette Part IX with self attested photo copies of all testimonials THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL ONLY. The application may be submitted through speed post, registered post, private courier and personally by the applicant himself.

(b) The testimonials must necessarily contain NOC from his/her current employer, copies of ACR for 5 (five) years, Service Book and other relevant documents. Candidates have to furnish 1 (One) self-addressed envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5 (Five) only along with the application.

(c) The application must be addressed to “The District & Sessions Judge, Majuli-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Majuli” on or before 2nd January, 2023. The envelope should be super-scribed as “Application for the post of UDA under, DLSA, Majuli”, Circuit House Campus, P.O Garamur, Pin-785104, Assam.

Terms and Conditions:

(a) The date, venue and time of Interview/Viva-Voce shall be intimated to the candidate in due course via call-letter and list of Candidate will be published in the Official Website of District Judiciary, Majuli.

(b) In case of non-receipt of call letters for the Interview/ Viva-Voce, the candidates may inform the undersigned in writing and/or may obtain the call letter from the office of the undersigned before the interview/Viva- Voce.

(c) Canvassing by any means will immediately lead to rejection of candidate.

(d) The office of the undersigned reserves the right to alter/modify or change any of the terms and conditions including selection criteria etc. mentioned in the advertisement.

(e) The admission of candidates at all the stages of the selection process will be purely provisional and subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions by way of furnishing documentary evidence in support thereof. If on verification at any time before or after the selection process, it is found that a candidate does not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature shall stand cancelled. More Calling of candidates to the interview/Viva-Voce does not necessarily mean acceptance of candidature.

(f) Any information submitted by applicant in his/her application will bind the candidate personally and if found to be false shall be liable for criminal prosecution apart from civil law.

(h) All other matters regarding the recruitment process which are not specified herein shall be as decided by the selection committee.
