Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in teaching in Tamil & English is mandatory.
- Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree from a recognized university (desirable).
- Minimum 5 years of full-time relevant teaching experience is mandatory in the subject concerned for 10th (TGT) and 12th (PGT) level.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in providing training to teachers covering subject matter/ curriculum/pedagogy/instructional strategies/classroom management is desirable. The selected teacher trainers shall train the teachers of Sri Lanka in the respective subject matter, curriculum, pedagogy, instructional strategies, classroom management, educational technologies, etc.
