1. Laboratory Technician
No. of post: 18 posts (UR-9. OBC-MOBC-5, STP-2, STH-1, SC-1)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200
Qualification: HSSLC (Sc) or equivalent with Diploma/ Certificate in Laboratory Technician from Govt. recognized institute.
2. Dental Technician
No. of post: 04 posts (UR-3, OBC/MOBC-1)
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200
Qualification: HSSLC (Sc) or equivalent with 2 years Diploma in Dental Technician Course.
3. Multi Rehabilitation Worke
No. of post: 04 posts (UR-3, OBC/MOBC-1)
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 +GP 5,600
Qualification: HSSLC (Sc) or equivalent from recognized board with Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation works/MR Technician Course from recognized institute.
4. Prosthetic/ Orthotic Technician
No. of post: 02 posts (UR-1, OBC/MOBC-1)
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200
Qualification: Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Orthotic Technician Course from recognized institute.
5. OT Technician
No. of post: 04 posts (UR-3, OBC/MOBC-1)
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200
Qualification: HSSLC (Sc) or equivalent with Diploma in OT Technician Course from govt. recognized institute.
6. Technician (Radiotherapy)

Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200
Qualification: HSSLC (Sc) or equivalent with Diploma in Radiotherapy Technician Course from a recognized institute. Persons having PG diploma shall be preferred.
7. Technician (Audiometry)
No. of post: 01 post (UR)
Scale of pay: Rs.14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Audiometry and speech pathology or equivalent as per N.P.P.C.D. guidelines.
8. Technician (Audio-Visual)
No. of post: 01 post (UR)
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,800
Qualification: ITI passed certificate/ unreserved NCVT certificate in TV Mechanic.
9. Technician Animal Operation/ Lab Tech.
No. of post: 01 post (UR)
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 5,600
Qualification: HSSLC or equivalent with Diploma in Animal Operation or its equivalent from recognized institute.
Age limit: Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not above 43 years as on 01.01,2017.The upper age limit in relaxable by 5 years for SC, STP, STH Candidates only.
Application Fees: The application fee of Rs.250/- ( Rupees Two hundred fifty ) only for General Category Candidates and Rs.150/- (Rupees One hundred fifty ) only for OBC/MOBC,SC, ST(P)& ST(H) category candidates which will have to be paid through net banking/credit card/ debit card while submitting the online application form. No fee is required for BPL candidate and they are required to upload their BPL certificate from the competent authority for such exemption of fee along with the application.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Interested candidates shall have to fill up the online Application Forms available at the official web site of Directorate of Medical Education, Assam (www.dmeassam.gov.in ).
2. The following documents in original will have to be produced at the time of document verification and photocopies of all certificates etc. are to be submitted:
(a) 2 (two) Copies of recent passport size colour photograph duly self attested.
(b) HSLC admit card or birth certificate for age proof.
(c) All marks sheets and pass certificate
(d) Caste certificate (where applicable)
(e) Permanent residentship certificate
(f) Employment Exchange Registration Certificate. Certificate of training experience Extra Curricular etc.
3. Detailed list of eligible candidates for each post along with the details of written test shall be notified in due course of the time and shall be displayed in the website www.dmeassam.gov.in. The date of uploading in the website shall be published in the local newspaper for information of the eligible candidates.
