3. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

Eligibility Criteria for Gauhati High Court Jobs

To successfully apply for the Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements.

Educational Qualification

1. For Judicial Assistant:

• Candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University in any stream (Arts, Science, or Commerce).
• Must possess a working knowledge of computers.

2. For Computer Assistant:

• Candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University.
• Must possess a Diploma/Certificate in Computer Operation/Application of at least 6 months duration.
• Skills Required: Proficiency in Data Entry, DTP works, Basic Hardware Maintenance (Printer/Scanner installation), LAN configuration, and Web-based application usage.

3. For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):

• Minimum Qualification: Candidate must have passed Class VIII (8th Standard).
• Important Restriction: Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class 12th) or above are INELIGIBLE to apply. If you have higher qualifications, you cannot apply for this specific post.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 40 Years.
• Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PwBD) as per the existing rules of the Government of Assam.
