Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 37,400/- to 67,000/- with a grade pay of Rs. 10,000/-

2. Associate Professor

No of posts: 9

Scale of pay: Rs. 37,400/- to 67,000/- with a grade pay of Rs. 9,000/-

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms.

3. Assistant Professor

No of posts: 13

Scale of pay: Rs. 15,600/- to 39,100/- with a grade pay of Rs.6,000/-

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms.

How to apply:

Prescribed application form may be downloaded from the G.U. website www.gauhati.ac.in. Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs 1000/- (In case of SC, ST Rs. 500/-) demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at SBI Branch, G.U. as an application fee for the post. Completed application in prescribed form along with necessary enclosures must reach ‘The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014‘ latest by 30th June, 2018.
